Do you make time for exercise?
If you don’t make time for exercise then you’re not alone. Statistics are showing, that only a small percentage of the Australian population is getting sufficient quality exercise, and that most of us are eating and drinking an excess of inappropriate kilojoules every day.
Well what is the answer? Most people have a constant battle with their desire to exercise, because they know that it will be good for them, but go on month after month just not getting around to it. This cycle just becomes more and more off putting and depressing as time goes by.
It has been my experience that the missing factor in nearly every case is….. NOT HAVING AN ARRANGED TIME!
Until you are willing to make a commitment to a certain time on certain days, this is just not going to happen. Everything that “is done”, is eventually nailed down to a time frame, whether it is a Doctor’s appointment, front garden tidy up and so on.
This is one of the greatest benefits of Personal Training, Semi Private Training or to a small group class. Someone is waiting for you! You will be missed if you don’t turn up! It is an appointment that you have committed to. (A large group class will often let you off the hook!)
There are a multitude of other benefits of having a booked time with a Personal Trainer. Safety, motivation, maximising your progress in a given time frame and having your progress monitored. It is also very worthwhile noting that good eating habits are also markedly enhanced, once a good exercise routine is in place. So double benefit there!
If you think you couldn’t afford any of the above, you might be pleasantly surprised, especially in a Semi Private or Small Group Class scenario. Your results will far out weigh the cost!
Have some measurements done and try out a week or two before you make a longer term commitment. With good management and commitment, noticeable changes will become evident within a 6 week timeframe.
Then you’ll get excited, and finding time to exercise will become a whole lot easier! Give us a call or email to arrange a FREE CONSULT through our website or mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 9309 2532
